AIS is proud of its small-school feel and the shared sense of belonging amongst students, teachers, and parents. In addition to our rigorous academic program, we know our strong sense of family is important to current and prospective parents. Our ‘through-train’ school means that children in our Early Childhood and Elementary School are on the same campus as our Middle and High School students which fosters a deep sense of community and connectedness in our students.
Accelerated by new and emergent technologies, we are on an exciting journey to make school truly relevant for our students, fully aware that the educational landscape is changing. Our Future Framework brings into focus a set of values, skills, and competencies that shape how learning is designed at AIS, with its main focus on developing a key mindset — Confidence.
We are proud of our bold vision, of our 1:1 Bring Your Own Apple Device program, of our world-class faculty, and of our outstanding student achievement. Above all, we are proud of our school community and genuinely excited about the future.

Students in AIS’s Early Childhood program follow a play-based curriculum taught by a multilingual staff, with primary instruction in English.
Students learn Mandarin, music, art, and physical education (PE) from specialist teachers and participate in Second Step, a fully-developed student wellness program that helps students grow socially and emotionally.

The curriculum in Elementary School has been carefully developed to ensure that our students evolve as confident, independent learners.
We foster their curiosity and their desire to help others who are less fortunate. Students develop empathy and can confidently express their love and compassion for their fellow classmates and community.

The middle years are a critical and exciting time of transition from childhood to young adulthood.
In the Middle School at AIS, we help students successfully navigate that transition by providing an educational program that holistically supports both academic success and positive personal growth.

At AIS, we provide an American Standards-based and Advanced Placement® (AP) curriculum with a wide variety of classes for students to choose from.
The High School program offers each student a chance to develop their strengths, explore their interests, and discover their passions through an inquiry driven approach to learning.
Students at AIS continue to demonstrate so many reasons to celebrate their diverse and impressive achievements. Our students consistently excel in academic, artistic, and athletic achievements that are recognized locally and internationally. As global citizens, effective communicators, empowered thinkers, and well-rounded individuals, their confidence, kindness, and creativity remain distinguishing outcomes of an education at AIS.
