I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of you. My name is Aaron Nelson Baumgartner,also known as Dr. B or Mr. B, and for the past four years, I have had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Elementary Principal at AIS. Over this time, I have come to deeply appreciate and understand the essence of the AIS community, making it a truly special place to be.
Having lived and worked in South East Asia for the past 18 years, I have had the opportunity to witness the transformative power of education firsthand. It is an honor for me to be a part of AIS and contribute to the growth and development of your children. As we embark on this educational journey together, I am committed to promoting the core values that underpin our school’s philosophy: “Justice, Knowledge, and Love.” These values form the bedrock of all the decisions and well-rounded education, fostering an environment where every student can thrive.
In addition to our core values, I firmly believe in instilling the key mindset of “Confidence” in our students. Confidence is a fundamental attribute that empowers young minds to reach their full potential and navigate the challenges they may encounter on their educational path. By nurturing confidence, we equip our students with the tools needed to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate global citizens.
I also want to share with you that I completed my doctoral research in parental satisfaction, and I am passionate about continuing my research in this area. I understand that as parents, your satisfaction and confidence in our school play a crucial role in your child’s educational experience. I am dedicated to ensuring open lines of communication, listening to your feedback, and continuously improving our practices to meet the needs and expectations of our AIS community.
