Thanksgiving – 28 November, 2024

Dear Families, Faculty, Students, and Staff,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in our learning community who celebrates American Thanksgiving a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Being grateful and giving thanks is proven to enrich people’s lives as outlined in this fascinating research paper from Berkeley. Both the giver and receiver benefit from the exchange, and numerous health and well-being benefits are a direct result of giving.

What is arguably one of the simplest of holidays, Thanksgiving involves spending time with friends and family, breaking bread, enjoying good food, and simply appreciating the people in our lives and the many gifts we collectively share.

As Head of School, I am genuinely grateful for all of you – for your collective commitment to modeling our Core Values, your dedication to our school and each other, and the countless ways I see you go out of your way to enrich school life. You give so much and it is inspiring.
