AIS Eagles Season 1 Sports Round Up
In Season 1, we kicked off with volleyball and football, setting a strong tone for the year. With many new players joining our teams, our athletes demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment during practices. The team spirit was vibrant, and everyone collaborated to pursue success. Now, let’s celebrate the incredible results from Season 1!
U14 Boys’ Football — This season was full of new experiences as some players moved up to the U20 team. We happily welcomed many talented young players to our team. We focused on improving how we talk to each other and trying out different ways of playing. Although we didn’t make it to the playoffs, we became even closer as a team and got much better at our game strategies.

U14 Girls’ Football — The U14 girls’ team had a fantastic season. They scored lots of goals in every game this year, and our players are really skilled in their positions. Unfortunately, we faced tough luck as we ended up in 3rd place, just missing out on the playoffs which only the top 2 teams could enter. Despite this setback, we managed to form a strong team this year, and we aim to be even stronger next year.

U14 Girls’ Volleyball — The U14 girls’ team reached the playoffs this season. They had many close games during both the regular season and the playoffs. Even though we lost to NAIS in the semifinals, we remained confident for the bronze medal match. In a thrilling third set, we won against CAIS in the bronze medal match. This year, our players are filled with confidence, and everyone can consistently deliver strong serves during matches. Looking ahead, we are excited about the potential and growth of our team.

U16 Girls’ Volleyball — The U16 girls’ team made it to the playoffs this season. They had a perfect record in the regular games, winning each one. In the semifinals, we emerged victorious against CDNIS. Although we faced NAIS in the final playoff, we narrowly lost by 2 points in the third set and came out of the championships with silver medals. Despite the loss, we displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the game. This year, many new players from G9 joined our team, which gives us room for improvement in the coming year. We are eagerly looking forward to what the next season will bring.

U20 Girls’ Volleyball — The U20 girls team had a great season. We welcomed many new players this year and we worked hard on our skills and accurate passing. We ended up in 5th place in Division 2. Next year we’ll have more new players joining us from the U16 team. We are looking forward to having these new players with us in the U20 team next year.

U20 Boys’ Volleyball — The U20 boys team improved a lot this year. We had many new training drills with the coach and the captain. We worked hard on spiking and got many points by spiking in each game. We won a few games in the league and ended up in 5th place in Division 3. Our team became stronger and more united this year. We are determined to become stronger and aim to reach the playoffs next year.

A big thank you to all the coaches for your dedication. You’ve created a wonderful positive team environment and encouraged good sportsmanship at AIS. We are excited for Season 2!
