AIS Eagles Season 4 Sports Round Up

In Season 4, we had a short season with challenging weather, particularly due to the rain. Despite these circumstances, our students and coaches demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance. They embraced the challenges and remained focused on their goal of enhancing skills and fostering strong team dynamics. We had an incredible season with the juniors. Now, join us in eagerly celebrating our AIS Eagles’ remarkable results.

We had a lot of players on our U14 Boys’ Touch Rugby team this year. We put in a lot of effort right from the start of the season. We worked hard and made it to the playoffs and we played against ICHK in the final. Although we scored more points in the final, the other team performed better overall. As a result, we ended up winning the silver medal in touch rugby. We will have a U20 Mixed Touch Rugby team for the next academic year, so stay tuned!

Our U14 Girls’ Touch Rugby team had a really good season, throughout its challenges. They won one game, tied another, and lost two during the season. They ended up in 3rd place in their group, but unfortunately did not qualify for playoffs. Our girls worked really hard and showed great teamwork and spirit throughout the season. They even played some friendly matches with the U14 Boys’ team. However, they are excited about the opportunity to play in a mixed touch rugby team next year!

Despite the difficulties posed by the weather and the need for rescheduling games in this season, our U12 Boys’ Football team remained resilient and determined. They showed great dedication and worked hard during practices, and focused on improving their skills and teamwork. Some new players joined from Grade 5, and they brought fresh talent and got along well with everyone. They stayed positive and communicated well during games.

The U12 Girls’ Football team had an amazing season. Even though they had a small number of players, they were incredibly strong and had great endurance to play multiple games in a day. They worked really hard during practice and made significant improvements in their skills. Many of the players were new to football, but they showed remarkable progress, especially in their defensive abilities. They finished in 5th place, but they learned a lot from all the games they played. We believe they will become even stronger, and we hope to have more players join the team next year!

We want to say thank you to all our coaches for your commitment and dedication. Our Eagles are truly thankful for the opportunity to learn from you, and they have seen tremendous improvement in their skills throughout this season. They are excited to continue learning and growing under your guidance. Thank you for your dedication and for being such wonderful coaches!
